
Elise Frangos has worked in several school districts as an English teacher grades 5-12, a curriculum Coordinator, Department Chair, Director of Reading and English pre-K through grade 12, and most recently served as the Assistant Superintendent for the Old Rochester Regional School district for a decade. Elise earned a BA in English from Simmons University, an Ed.M in Administration from Harvard, and an Ed.D in Language Arts and Literacy from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. A certified Sheltered English Instruction (SEI) and ESL instructor for teachers, administrators and Consumer Science and Vocational technical teachers, she has helped many educators earn their endorsement. Elise has delivered many workshops on trauma-sensitive teaching, writing and reading strategies, mentoring, curriculum design and project-based learning. Elise enjoys coaching teachers and administrators toward district wide literacy and academic improvement.
