
Karen began her career in education in 1999, when she found her calling as a 5th grade public school educator. In the years since, she has been a classroom teacher, Title I reading-intervention teacher, and MTSS/RTI school leader. Karen also developed a basic skills curriculum for her district in New Jersey, focused on using the Orton-Gillingham multisensory approach to literacy instruction. Karen received her Dyslexia Certification from Mount St. Joseph’s University, her Elementary Teaching Certification from Rider University, and her B.S. in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In her spare time, Karen enjoys watching her son play lacrosse and boating with her husband.
