Noel Foy, M.A.


Noel is an experienced educator with a range of passions and specialities. She began her career as a teacher and supervisor of tutorials in 1981 at Landmark School for students with language-based learning disabilities For over thirty years, Noel has worked in various capacities as an educator. Noel went on to design educational software for Lexia Learning Systems and served as the Learning Specialist at The Roxbury Latin School for close to 25 years. In addition to her role as a Keys to Literacy national consultant/trainer, Noel focuses on transforming key neuroscience findings into practical applications to reduce the impact of stress on learning based on how the brain learns best. As the founder of Neuro Noel Consulting, Noel delivers keynotes, workshops, and one-on-one coaching for students and adults that addresses anxiety/stress, executive function, and growth mindset. Noel is the author of two story books that provide practical problem-solving strategies for decreasing stress and promoting healthy change: Are You a Bird Like Me? and ABC Worry Free for which she won a Mom’s Choice Award (R). Noel received her B.A. in Education/Special Education and her M.A. in American Studies from Boston College, and is certified to treat anxiety in children and teens.
