Amy Siracusano was in public education for 23 year before becoming an independent literacy consultant. Her career in public education has included many positions including: classroom teacher, learning specialist, Title I teacher, vice principal, and literacy specialist. Amy is currently a member of Decoding Dyslexia Maryland, on the board of directors for The Reading League, a National LETRS trainer, and a Teacher Preparation and Literacy Review Specialist for The Barksdale Reading Institute. She is honored to join the team of trainers at Keys to Literacy, and believes all students should leave second grade reading and writing. Amy received her M.S. in Elementary Education from McDaniel College, and her B.A. from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
