Register here for the two-day live training delivered by Keys to Literacy trainers using a virtual-live format (using Zoom meeting software). Participants will receive the Keys to Beginning Reading manual when they register.  The following modules will be explored over the two days:

• Module 1: Reading Basics
• Module 3: Phonological Awareness
• Module 4: Phonics

Training dates are:  March 13 & 20, 2024; 8:30-3:00 EST.

This online course is aligned with the training book for The Key Comprehension Routine: Grades 4-12. The course provides a self-guided opportunity to access training for educators who are not able to participate in live training. The course takes approximately 16 hours to complete. The online course is organized into modules that include interactive activities, reading assignments, quizzes, and video clips from live training. It is designed for use with The Key Comprehension Routine training book that is provided free with the course. Course participants complete “use your content” activities that allow them to generate lessons that incorporate the instructional practices into classroom instruction using existing content reading and teaching material. Registration for the online course includes a copy of the training book. Graduate credit is available.

Courses are non-transferrable. Once a participant has confirmed/logged into their account it cannot be transferred to a new participant.

This online course provides a self-guided opportunity to access the same content that is in Keys to Literacy’s Understanding Dyslexia live training. The course is organized into modules that include reading assignments, reflection activities, quizzes, and video clips. It takes approximately 6 hours to complete at your own pace.

The course is organized into 11 modules and takes approximately 36 hours to complete. This is an asynchronous course, which means users can log on and off multiple times to complete the course assignments at their own pace. It includes activities, video clips, and numerous resources. A copy of the Keys to Beginning Reading training manual is included in the registration purchase price. Graduate credit is available.
