Kimberly O’Brien, M.S.

Trainer

Kimberly is a Trainer at Keys to Literacy and began her education career in 1989 as a middle school special education teacher. She also taught elementary school in a variety of grade levels and has served as an instructional coach, staff development specialist, elementary and middle school principal, Director of Elementary Education, and Director of PK-12 Curriculum and Instruction. Kim has been supporting PK-12 teachers for over two decades and is passionate about ensuring that all teachers have the knowledge and skills they need to ensure all students can read, spell, and write. Kim received her B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the State University of New York at Oswego, along with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from the State University of New York at Cortland. When not working, she enjoys hiking, biking, and following a variety of college sports.
