Leslie is a Trainer with Keys to Literacy and began her career as a public elementary school teacher in 2000. Currently, Leslie is a District Literacy Academic Coach. In this position, she designs and leads professional development aligned with school improvement plans, supports teachers in coaching cycles, models research-based ELA instructional practices, and coordinates school and district assessments. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Department of Education Educator Committee. Leslie received her M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Duquesne University, a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Point Park University, and holds an ESL Program Specialist Certificate. Leslie lives in Pittsburgh, PA, and enjoys being outdoors, exercising, and traveling.
