Yuki Rockwell is a Trainer with Keys to Literacy and began his journey in elementary education in 2005. During this time, he has taught many grade levels including both kindergarten and 5th grade. Yuki now serves as a K-12 Literacy Instructional Coach in Colorado Springs where he continues to pass on his love of literacy to the next generation of educators. He believes that teaching is a unique combination of knowledge and instructional practice, and partners with educators to unlock these skill sets. He desires to empower teachers through evidence-based practices to help students become lifelong readers. In 2013, Yuki was a member of a staff that was distinguished with the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award. Yuki received his Master of Arts in Teaching from Colorado College and a B.A. in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. In his free time, he loves reading, folding origami, going fishing, and spending time with his family.
