Robyn is a Trainer with Keys to Literacy and began her career in education as an elementary teacher.  After 16 years as an elementary teacher, she took a position with Pittsburgh as an Instructional Teacher Leader. After that, she became a Literacy Coach for the district. Robyn believes that teacher leadership is the key to successful student outcomes. Under her guidance, the teachers became leaders of PLCs in her school. Colfax became a STAR school, showing some of the highest growth in the district and state. Robyn passed the IQAC test and is a certified RISE observer. Robyn has a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development & Child Care and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh. She enjoys spending time at her lake house with family and friends. She loves to swim, paddleboard, read, and relax in the Laurel Mountains of Pennsylvania.
