Amy Rudat has worked in education since 1999 as a teacher, coach, literacy specialist, curriculum leader, and professional development designer. She helped author New York’s EngageNY ELA curriculum, was a founding member and Senior Director at UnboundEd.org, and most recently served as Senior Literacy Specialist at Open Up Resources. A published author and national presenter, Amy holds NYS permanent certifications in English (7–12) and Art (K–12), as well as certification in Change Management from Cornell University. She is an accomplished developer of national professional development for teachers and leaders around ELA and MLL. She is committed to ensuring all students have access to rigorous, equitable literacy instruction. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, hiking, camping, and life as a proud boy mom.
