Keys to Literacy Event

The 2-day training is broken into two non-consecutive days: December 17 and December 19.

Advanced training for building or district level individuals to become a coach facilitator for Keys to Content Writing.  The training includes a review of writing instructional practices covered in Keys to Content Writing, suggestions for supporting teacher implementation of these practices, and coaching skills.  Prior attendance at a Keys to Content Writing initial training is a prerequisite for Coach Training.

This two-day workshop is for building-based and district-level educators who will be providing support to teachers who have been trained to implement Keys to Content Writing. This program focuses on teaching students how to write in all subject areas, grades 4-12. Participants learn best practices to address the writing requirements of Common Core standards, including frequent writing in all content areas that includes short and longer writing tasks.
