Are you looking for literacy professional development that is approved by the Rhode Island Department of Education for Literacy/Dyslexia endorsement?
Our Rhode Island Keys to Reading and Dyslexia course is approved and meets the Right to Read Act requirements for all educators needing to meet the Proficiency Training requirements.
About the Course
Upon completion of this course, RI certified educators will be able to add Literacy/Dyslexia endorsement to a current valid Rhode Island certificate. This endorsement indicates an educator has met the proficiency requirements of the Right to Read Act legislation that includes intensive study of the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy.
School districts provide this professional development to teachers using our Facilitated Online Course model. A 38-hour asynchronous online course is combined with five, half-day virtual-live facilitated sessions. Training content is learned from the online course, and facilitated sessions offer an opportunity for educators to engage in collaborative activities and discussion to support that online learning.
Please contact Keys to Literacy (info@keystoliteracy.com) for more information and to discuss a plan for this training course.
