Amy Kotara is a Trainer with Keys to Literacy. She is from Abilene, Texas, and began her educational career in 2005. She has been a classroom teacher in both secondary English and elementary Reading and Language Arts. She has served campuses as an interventionist and literacy coach. From 2019-2023, Amy worked with the House Bill 3 Texas Reading Academies project. She received her B.A. in English and her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from West Texas A&M University. When she is not working with Keys, you can find her watching softball with her family or running rehearsals at her ballet studio.
