Dr. Bola Disu serves as a National Literacy Consultant/Trainer and is passionate about engaging school communities in professional development that focuses on ensuring equity in literacy instruction. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked closely with schools to provide job-embedded coaching and training that includes research-based strategies on effective ways to engage students in literacy instruction. Dr. Bola Disu presents at conferences where she demonstrates an ability to connect with educators who seek to improve in literacy instruction. She has also worked on school data teams, school leadership teams, and with school board members to help them obtain desired results. Dr. Bola Disu enjoys travel and education; she feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to combine both in her professional experiences. One of her favorite aspects of her professional practice is to collaborate with educators who want to create a positive school culture and improve student-learning outcomes.
