Erin is a Trainer with Keys to Literacy and began her career in education in 2011. She is currently a reading specialist working with elementary students using a structured literacy approach. In addition to working with students, Erin has led professional development and guided teachers as the district shifted into an evidence-based framework aligned with the science of reading practices. She is also an adjunct instructor at Bay Path University, where she helps prepare undergraduate students to become effective teachers of reading. Previously, Erin has worked as a reading specialist at the middle school level, has taught first and third grade, and has operated a private tutoring practice working with students with dyslexia. She is a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and has completed training in several reading programs to support literacy instruction. Erin holds her M.A. in Reading from American International College and her B.A. in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University. In her free time, Erin enjoys reading to her three sons and doing aerial yoga.
