Liz is an Account Manager with Keys to Literacy. She began her career as a teacher in Houston, Texas, where she spent seven years working with students in grades 2-4. She went on to become a district Teacher Development Specialist, where she created and led workshops focused on best practices in elementary reading and worked with principals and district administrators to prioritize instructional coaching needs. Liz also worked as a Program Specialist with the Texas Education Agency, where she supported the essential functions of a statewide reading professional development program. Before joining Keys to Literacy, she worked as a Literacy Specialist for an education publishing company, where she nurtured client relationships, led product training, and managed customer accounts. Liz holds a BA in English from Canisius College and an M.Ed in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University.
