
In addition to being a literacy trainer/consultant, Michelle also is a member of the product development department. Michelle has been an educator for over 25 years across many districts in Massachusetts. She has her certificate in Elementary Education and Masters in Reading from Salem State University. In addition Michelle holds her Director Supervisor ELA license. She began her career as an elementary teacher with a love of literacy. After thirteen years, she moved into the role of reading specialist and then eventually into literacy coach for the past eight years. During that time she created and provided professional development, coaching, data analysis, and was involved in implementation of best reading practices and interventions at the school and district level. In addition, Michelle has received grants for connecting literacy with Novel Engineering, Cultural Responsiveness, and Social Emotional Learning. She has also been an adjunct professor for Endicott College and Framingham State College. Michelle loves to spend time with her family in Maine skiing in the winter and on the lake in the summer.
