Nina Lorimor-Easley is Head of Content Development with Keys to Literacy. Nina immersed herself in literacy instruction in the early 2000s in response to her own children’s struggles with reading and writing. She became a strong advocate in the state of Iowa for literacy reform serving as a founding member of Decoding Dyslexia Iowa, on the State of Iowa Dyslexia Task Force, and the State of Iowa Dyslexia Board. Nina was a joint owner of a large private intervention and assessment center in Des Moines, Iowa and served as the Associate Director of the Iowa Reading Research Center where she created and taught the content of the Iowa Dyslexia Specialist Endorsement coursework. Nina holds master’s degrees in Curriculum Studies with emphasis in Language-Based learning disabilities and Educational Psychology as well as graduate certification in dyslexia and language-based learning disabilities. In her free time, Nina enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading and listening to music.
