Helpful Resource: Mass Literacy

Mass Literacy is a nonprofit organization supporting literacy education throughout Massachusetts, although their resources can be accessed by anyone. The group focuses on achieving a fully literate population, from children to adults, that is empowered by strong families, passionate teachers, and a literacy workforce.
Mass Literacy partners with public and private organizations to do the following:
- Recognize and reward leadership and excellence in the field of literacy
- Empower strong families and a literacy workforce
- Educate the public about literacy through coordinated media outreach
- Encourage collaboration and partnerships that strengthen literacy
The Mass Literacy website lists literacy resources, posts a literacy related blog, and lists literacy events.
