Description
Lead to Literacy is a practical professional learning course that helps leaders understand the unique aspects of adolescent literacy. The course provides strategies for supporting students with literacy difficulties and for using assessment data to design responsive, individualized literacy interventions. The online course is divided into four modules: Literacy Basics, What is Adolescent Literacy?, Adolescent Learners with Literacy Difficulties & Data-Driven Reading Intervention. The course takes approximately 12 hours to complete. Because it is asynchronous, participants may log in and out at their convenience and complete assignments at their own pace. Individual educators can register, or schools can enroll groups.
